2020 Scholarship Awards

The Houston Area Glass Association (HAGA) is proud to announce the names of the four 2020 scholarship recipients.

Weston Ozment, son of HAGA Member and Past President, David Ozment with Binswanger, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship. Weston attends University of Houston with an expected graduation date of 2021. Weston is pursuing a Finance/Business degree.

 

Truman Bexley, referred by Scott Theut of Theut Glass, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship. Truman plans to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at Sam Houston State University.

 

Katherine Ramirez, referred by Jimmy Ramirez of Lonestar Glass, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship.  Katherine plans to pursue a degree in Sports Management at Texas Tech University.

 

Marley Gilmore, referred by Terri Gilmore of A3 Glass Fabricators, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship.  Marlene plans to pursue a degree in Healthcare at Texas State University.

 

Congratulations to all our scholarship recipients!

 

The annual scholarship is available to any high school senior or college student referred by a HAGA member. The applicants are judged on a 350-word essay, volunteerism, and school transcripts.
